Sharpkeys repairs and restores modern flutes and piccolos including
instruments with pinless, bridged mechanism systems. We have extensive experience with Broegger and micro-Link mechanisms.
We install and service the best contemporary and traditional pads, including Straubinger, Schmidt and Pisoni. All work is custom tailored to meet the needs of each customer. We work with our customers to match the most appropriate padding with the instrument's unique qualities and the musician’s own playing style. At Sharpkeys, we use state of the art techniques, tools and materials to ensure consistently accurate and reliable performance. We install ultra flat, rigid aluminum stabilizers. Pads are laid on dimensionally- stable Mylar shims (rather than paper) and, when necessary, we install perfectly-sealing Delrin French bushings.
