Master Craftsman Eugenio Righi
has been part of Boston's tradition of flutemaking since 2002. Working for one of the most prestigious and innovative flutemakers in Boston, he has finished to the most exacting standards over one thousand handmade flutes and piccolos, which have since been sold to premier soloists and orchestras around the world. With his work in Boston, Eugenio has been involved in all aspects of flute production and as such, has developed a profound appreciation for state of the art instrument design, principles and construction.
He is able to combine his knowledge of instrument mechanics with his training as a flute player in order to make each instrument he works with exceptionally resonant, precise
and reliable.
Eugenio Righi holds degrees in music from the Conservatory of Novara, Italy; the Academy of Music of Pescara, Italy, and a Master's degree in Flute Performance from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
